This birding trip will bring you to the northern coastal lakes of Shabla and Durankulak, Cape Kaliakra and Batova riverine forests
The trip is appropriate for tourists based along the northern Bulgarian coast (between Kamchia and Kavarna)
Departure time: ~ 8.00 – 9.00 h
Finishing: ~ 18:00 h
Best time: May - September

European Shag (the Mediterranean ssp. desmarestii), Mediterranean Shearwater, all the European herons and egrets, Little Bittern, Ferruginous Duck, Whiskered Tern, Black Turn and White-winged Terns (May only), Lesser Spotted Eagle, Red-footed Falcon, Collared Pratincole, Stone Curlew, Eagle Owl, Alpine Swift, Syrian Woodpecker, Grey-headed Woodpecker, Middle Spotted Woodpecker, Short-toed Lark, Calandra Lark, Tawny Pipit, Isabelline Wheatear, Pied Wheatear, Penduline Tit, Paddyfield Warbler, Barred Warbler, Semi-collared Flycatcher, Short-toed Treecreeper, Lesser Grey Shrike, Rose-coloured Starling (May-June only); other migrating & summering species of Waders, Gulls and Turns
